This challenging mountain bike tour leads from Morter to the Morterer Leger (1,705 m) and provides access to the legendary Holy Hansen Trail. The route combines a demanding climb with enjoyable trails and a rest stop at the Haslhof mountain inn.

From Morter, passing the fire station, the route leads to the forest barrier. The subsequent climb to the Morterer Leger runs in the shadow of the Nördersberg - initially on white marble gravel, later on grass and moss (caution when wet). The incline reaches up to 19%. At the Leger, a fantastic rest spot awaits with views of the Hasenohr Peak (3,257 m).

The descent follows beautiful trails to the Haslhof. After the rest stop, a short trail section leads to the forest road. Via an irrigation channel path, you reach the paved road. After two uphill switchbacks, turn left onto a forest road that transforms into a technically challenging trail leading back to Morter.

  • Elevation gain: approx. 1,000 m
  • Difficulty: medium to difficult
  • Highlights: Morterer Leger, Haslhof, shaded ascent
  • Connection: possible to Holy Hansen Trail (S0-S2)

Tip: Ideal for hot summer days due to the shaded climb. In wet conditions, the upper part of the ascent becomes slippery.
