The tour starts in Prad on the classic Stelvio Pass (Stilfser Joch) route. At Gomagoi you turn off towards Sulden. From here, many riders take the cable car up to the Schaubachhütte. From there you follow the ski slope up to the Madritschhütte.The last metres of climbing to the Madritschjoch are often not free of snow, even in summer. You need to be sure-footed and fit. Once you stand on the pass, you leave the Ortler and the Königspitze behind you and ride down into the beautiful Martelltal to the Zufallhütte.
