The Vinschgau train takes us to Mals station in the upper Vinschgau (Val Venosta). There we rent a bike for a deposit and follow the cycle path to Glurns. Glurns is the smallest town in South Tyrol and has a completely preserved town wall. We continue to the fishing ponds in Prad with a view of the Stilfser Joch. Along the way we are accompanied by apple and apricot trees until we arrive in the marble village of Laas. Following the cycle path further, we ride past Schlanders, to Goldrain and on to Naturns station, where we can return our rental bikes.

Highlights: orchards, castles and palaces, such as the Churburg
