To the Stoanernen Mandln

For technically skilled mountain bikers who want to explore the scenic paths of the Meran 2000 high plateau, this tour offers a brilliant experience. However, only riders who have their bike under control will enjoy it here. If there were a bit less climbing, you might almost think you were riding a freeride trail.

The tour kicks off with a ride on the Meran 2000 cable car, which carries us effortlessly up high. The following traverse to the Meraner Hütte is mostly relaxed; only the last sections, with their loose, rocky ground reminiscent of stream beds, call for extra attention.

An alternation of flowing trails and short counter-climbs leads us to the impressive "Stoanernen Mandln". While some of the counter-climbs are easy to manage, others are steep and demand technical skill. However, most of them can be ridden with a little effort and skill.
