Latscher Alm - Alpine Hut

The Latscher Alm sits at 1,715 metres above Latsch and is run by the Tschenett family. The menu features homemade alpine cheese, game specialities and traditional lamb dishes. The aromatic alpine cheese, produced here according to time-honoured methods, is renowned well beyond the region.

From the hut, a wide view opens across the Adige valley and the surrounding mountains of the Vinschgau. It can be reached via a forest road from Latsch that climbs moderately through woodland. For the descent, mountain bikers can choose between the Roatbrunn Trail and the 4 gewinnt 13 Trail, both challenging singletrails.
