Length: 14 km
Downhill elevation: -1080 m
Difficulty: S2-S3

A trail firework for skilled riders with a head for heights, with exposed S3 and G5 passages on the Latscher Panorama Trail, followed by S2 on the Propain Trail.

The Latscher Panorama Trail lives up to its name. Not only is the panorama indescribable, the trail itself is phenomenal for experienced riders. From technical and exposed passages with hairpin bends to flowy forest trails and stepped sections, this trail simply has it all. After starting at the St. Martin im Kofel top station (1740 m), the trail first follows hiking trail no. 14 on asphalt and then on gravel. After about 2.5 km, shortly after the Egghof, the actual trail begins. Note the time restriction: from 10:00 to 14:00 hikers only! Partly quite exposed and with some technical passages, the path runs along the slope past the Laggar and Zuckbichl ruins. Along the way, the wonderful panorama is overwhelming again and again. After a few flow sections, hairpin bends dropping steeply into the Fallerbach gorge and a carrying section (S3-S4), you reach the forest road and, shortly after Patsch, dive into the Propain Trail.

Here things get a bit more flowy, but still with tight corners on beautiful Vinschgau Sonnenberg trail surface.

Again and again the sunny slope drops away steeply next to the trail, and clearings open up views of the apple orchards and the great mountain scenery. The built trail section with 550 metres of descent is consistently 80 cm wide, giving beginners security and experienced riders room for speed and airtime. Good cornering technique and nose pivots on tight hairpins are needed for anyone who doesn't want to get off the bike. For a break with a view, stop at the Fisolgut near Schloss Schlandersberg, which takes a few extra metres.

Several Share The Trail sections are marked. The rest of trail no. 14 and trail no. 7 are reserved for hikers!
