From Kortsch an easy climb starts to Allitz, covering approx. 450 m of elevation. The tour then leads into the rugged Gadria valley and, at the end of the valley, to the right to the Failegg farm. A short, easy trail runs through the dry slopes of the Vinschgau Sonnenberg to the ruined Madatschhof, then on again along a short trail and later on a flat forest road to the Gsalhof (1,350m).Several trails across the Sonnenberg take us back down towards the valley.
