Mausloch Alm - Alpine Hut
The Mausloch Alm lies at 1,835 metres on the Naturnser Nörderberg, nestled between alpine meadows and conifer forests. Hosts Evelyn and Charly create a warm, family atmosphere. The menu features South Tyrolean classics such as speck dumplings and Kaiserschmarren, alongside homemade cakes and schnapps.
Large sunbathing meadows and a playground make the hut especially attractive for families. It can be reached via a forest path from the Kreuzbrünnl car park, an easy route suitable for beginners. The Mausloch Alm is a stop on the Naturnser Almenweg, the trail that connects the alpine huts on the Nörderberg.
How to get to the Mausloch Alm - Alpine Hut by bike
The Bike Highline Merano starts in Töll at the Etsch bridge with the Aschbach uphill. Via the Vigiljoch, the high trail leads between 1,450 and 1,900 metres to the Mausloch Alm. Alternatively, from the Kreuzbrünnl car park (accessible via the Nörderberg road from Naturns) along the forest path in about one hour. Vinschger Bahn train to Naturns.

The Mausloch Alm is open from late May to mid-October. In early summer, when the alpine meadows on the Nörderberg are in bloom, the ride along the Bike Highline Merano is especially rewarding. In midsummer, 1,835 metres offers pleasant temperatures while the valley below swelters. In autumn, the hut offers clear views across the Vinschgau and the Texel Group.
