Maseben - Alpine Hut

The Maseben mountain hut sits at 2,267 metres in the Langtaufers valley, combining alpine hospitality with special comfort. The kitchen uses regional and seasonal ingredients for its specialities. In the morning, guests are treated to a breakfast buffet with products from the surrounding area, and in the evening a multi-course menu.

Beyond the culinary side, Maseben features an observatory for stargazing and a wood-heated outdoor hot tub. A shuttle service transports guests from the valley station to the hut. How to get to the Maseben - Alpine Hut by bike

The Three Huts Tour starts in Graun at Lake Reschen. The Langtaufers road leads into the valley, followed by a shady forest path. After the Kaproner Alm, climbs and descents lead to the junction for Maseben at 2,200 metres. Parking in Graun. Vinschger Bahn train to Mals, bus to Graun. Maseben also offers a shuttle service from the valley station.

Maseben - Alpine Hut throughout the year

Maseben is open from mid-June to mid-October and from mid-December to mid-April. In summer, the mountain hut is a highlight of the Three Huts Tour and a starting point for hikes in the Sesvenna range. In autumn, the altitude above 2,200 metres already has an alpine character with first snow on the peaks. In winter, Maseben is a popular base for ski tourers.
