On the eastern outskirts of Merano, the gardens of Trauttmansdorff delight with their varied diversity of flora. More than 80 colourful gardens from all over the world can be visited here. Merano's mediterranean climate makes this possible. Visitors to the gardens of Trauttmansdorff gain fascinating insights into exotic mediterranean landscapes, magnificent views of the imposing mountain ranges of the Alps and the sunny city of Merano.

From the motorway (SS 38), take the Merano Sud exit; then head towards the town centre; at the second roundabout, turn off in the direction of Schenna; after about 2 km you will reach the car park of the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff.
